Part-Time Resident Services Coordinator for Family Housing and the Housing Now Program
The Salem Housing Authority is seeking a highly motivated human services professional
to provide information, referrals, education workshops, group services and individual
case management to families of the Salem Housing Authority. The incumbent will be
responsible for coordinating resources/services to residents referred to the Housing Authority from the state shelter system through the Housing Now program. The RSC will
work with families that have managed homelessness and are referred from area shelters
to ensure they can access community-based assistance, assure compliance with their
leases and to support well-being/quality of life for the families. The RSC will follow a
caseload of 8 families in the Housing Now program and also be available for coordinating services for families that live in subsidized family housing in the Salem Housing
Authority portfolio. The hours of the position are flexible. College level training in
social work, counseling or other related human services fields is required along with basic computer skills and ability to travel to different Salem Housing Authority Developments. This is a part-time (30 hours per week) position with great benefits. The salary
range is $60,000. Bi-lingual applicants are strongly encouraged. Please submit a cover
